KHQ-P20/30/50 Quartz Lamp Point Heater

Product Overview
In sensor calibration, small-scale material testing, localized curing, and precision assembly, only a few millimeters typically require heating. Conventional batch furnaces or large-area heat sources often suffer from long preheat times, excessive thermal impact on surrounding areas, limited specimen clamping options, and low energy efficiency. The KHQ-P20/30/50 quartz lamp point heater uses infrared radiation with a reflective focusing structure to create a localized hot zone of φ5–8 mm at the set working distance. With a compact head measuring approximately φ45 mm × 51 mm, it can be used independently for experiments or integrated into fixtures, slides, three-axis stages, robotic arms, test machines, or automated tooling to enable fixed-point, position-switching, or scanning heating.
Product Positioning
Precise Hot Reload
Establish localized temperature rise in millimeter-scale zones to reduce heat exposure to surrounding structures and minimize wasted energy input.
Flexible System Integration
Compact design with easy interface routing; supports expansion for temperature sensing, closed-loop control, motion platforms, and data acquisition.

How it works
After power-on, the quartz lamp rapidly establishes infrared radiation output. The reflective focusing assembly concentrates energy onto the sample surface to prioritize heating of the target area. Since the heat source does not directly contact the sample, this minimizes contamination, indentation, and mechanical interference—making it ideal for thin-walled parts, small components, and localized heating within complex tooling.
Actual heating rate and peak temperature are determined by power, focal length, sample material, surface condition, mass and thickness, measurement method, and environmental heat dissipation. At the standard focal length, a smaller spot size is achieved. Defocusing expands the heated area but reduces the power density per unit area accordingly.
Core Advantages
From fast onboarding to precise integration, balancing experimental setup with future control scalability.
Micrometer-scale micro-area focusing
The standard focused spot size is approximately φ5–8 mm, enabling localized thermal loading on solder joints, adhesive layers, sensors, small components, and specific areas of materials.
Quick Start/Stop
Quartz lamp sources have low thermal inertia, enabling rapid start and stop of radiation output. Ideal for short-duration, intermittent, and repetitive experiments.
Contactless heating
Non-contact heating of the sample eliminates contamination, indentation, and contact heat transfer errors, ensuring precision in fixture clamping.
Miniaturized structure
Overall dimensions: approx. φ45 mm × 51 mm; easy to install in tight spaces and around complex fixtures, with flexible multi-angle mounting options.
Continuous Power Adjustment
Adjust output based on heating rate, target temperature, and sample absorption characteristics. Simple setup for basic configurations enables efficient process exploration.
Scalable closed-loop control
Optional thermocouple, infrared temperature measurement, PID temperature control, and data acquisition for heating, holding, over-temperature protection, and temperature curve recording.

Usage and Safety Instructions
- ⚠Strong visible and infrared radiation is emitted during operation. Do not look directly at the light source or focus area. Use appropriate eye and radiation protection equipment.
- ⚠The sample, heating head tip, and surrounding structures may be hot. Install heat guards and allow adequate cooldown time after power-off.
- ⚠Keep the air-cooled channel clear. Do not operate continuously if cooling is abnormal, the reflector surface is contaminated, or electrical connections are loose.
- ⚠Infrared temperature readings are affected by emissivity, angle, and spot size coverage. For highly reflective metals, combine with thermocouples or use a calibrated measurement solution.
- ⚠For adhesives, coatings, and materials that may emit volatiles, evaluate ventilation, smoke extraction, and fire safety conditions.
