KHQ-P1000 Quartz Lamp Point Heater

Product Overview
The KHQ-P1000 Quartz Point Heater is a localized rapid thermal loading device developed based on short-wave and mid-short-wave infrared radiation technology. The system employs high-power quartz halogen lamps as the radiant heat source, using a metal reflector cavity and optical focusing structure to concentrate infrared energy onto a millimeter-scale target area, achieving non-contact, high-response, and high power density heating. Unlike traditional resistance furnaces that heat the entire chamber, the quartz point heater requires no preheating and can rapidly raise the temperature of specific target areas. It is suitable for material thermal response studies, localized heat treatment, thermal shock testing, and integration with mechanical testing platforms.
Product Positioning
1000 W Class Focused Infrared Thermal Loading
Metal reflective cavity and optical focusing concentrate infrared energy onto a millimeter-scale target area, achieving high-power-density spot heating.
High-response localized heat source
No furnace preheating required; rapid heating of target areas enables integration with thermal response research and mechanical testing platforms.
Product Type
How it works
The device uses infrared radiation from a quartz halogen lamp, which is concentrated by a high-reflectivity metal reflector cavity onto a specific area of the sample surface. By adjusting lamp power, focal length, working distance, and reflector structure, the heated zone size and heat flux can be controlled to achieve localized point heating at high temperatures.
The system supports temperature feedback from infrared thermometers, thermal imagers, or thermocouples. It uses closed-loop control to adjust lamp power, enabling processes such as heating up, temperature holding, and cyclic heating. When selecting a unit, do not determine power based solely on the target temperature. Instead, consider the heating area size, material thermal properties, required ramp-up time, allowable temperature difference, and test environment. For larger areas or higher thermal loads, consider multi-lamp arrays, linear heating, or panel heating solutions.
Important Notice:The 1800°C maximum temperature represents peak capability under tightly focused, small-area conditions and is not achievable for all materials or sizes. Actual temperature depends on material absorptivity, sample size, surface condition, focal length, environmental heat dissipation, and the measurement method. For formal projects, we recommend confirming values based on specific test samples and acceptance conditions.

Usage and Safety Instructions
- ⚠Strong visible and infrared radiation is emitted during operation. Do not look directly at the light source or focus area. Use appropriate eye and radiation protection equipment.
- ⚠The sample, heating head tip, and surrounding structures may be hot. Install heat guards and allow adequate cooldown time after power-off.
- ⚠Keep the air-cooled channel clear. Do not operate continuously if cooling is abnormal, the reflector surface is contaminated, or electrical connections are loose.
- ⚠Infrared temperature readings are affected by emissivity, angle, and spot size coverage. For highly reflective metals, combine with thermocouples or use a calibrated measurement solution.
- ⚠For adhesives, coatings, and materials that may emit volatiles, evaluate ventilation, smoke extraction, and fire safety conditions.
